"Again?" Fuu commented dryly.

She observed the sunflower spikes through the window, snow slowly bathing his head. She put down the coffee her customer had ordered on the table, accepting his payment quietly with mild interest. While walking to the registrar, she still couldn't take her eyes off the young man who hollered cheerfully outside her coffee shop. She placed the tray she was holding on top of the counter, striking a conversation with her rather talkative staff member.

Ms. Brooke: Ok... (She was writing something down on a note pad) your brother, Mr. Tribal, referred you and your wife to this session. Do you understand why you are here today?

Paine: Because he won't wear any damn pants.

Kuja: (His eye twitch but he merely examined his nails as he crossed one leg over the other) I have an inkling.

Ms. Brooke: Your brother, Zidane, stated in his letter that you and your wife fight every other week. Is this true?

Kuja: That's correct.

Ms. Brooke: May I ask Mr. Tribal...

Kuja: Kuja is fine -.-

Ms. Brooke: I'm sorry (clears her throat) Kuja, how long have you and Paine been married?

Kuja: Three years.

They would always tell me, during my reign of engagement, how the first year of marriage is always the hardest. To expect a lot of bickering, adjustments, headaches... basically, in the risible words of my younger brother: the kind of drama you save for your mama.

I, for one, can't really vouch to that notion since I had a marvelous time.

From chocobo Hot and Cold to Sphere Break, canary and I did everything together. Though the trip we took to Mt. Gagazet wasn't at all to my liking, since freezing winds and wet snow does nothing for my swag, the experience ended up euphoric once we reached the springs.

Like the info of this group tells you up at the top and bottom :D this corner highlights the Vanitas + Aqua and Kuja + Paine couple but other pairings is welcome. So nobody who stumbles across this page should really be making any couple "serious business" since we're just here to have fun and meet other people who share the same interest; not to bicker over characters that will never belong to us :)

We will no longer feature any monthly themes like we were doing once before because of the fact that nobody except for the contributors, myself and *annria2002 made an effort to participate.

Until we gain at least 50 active members ^.^ no contests involving prizes will take place around here since I'm not the kind of founder who believes in advertising such events just to keep artwork coming in. It shouldn't take prizes to get any of you who request to join this group to contribute after all :shrug: so I encourage those who decide to join to just enjoy yourselves since that is what fandom should be about.

What's with the caps?

As for your question, a lot of people who come by and send in a request to join seem to prefer to be lazy rather than taking the time out to actually read both the Club Rules & Submission Guidelines.

And that's not even covering the fact most people on DA now a days seem to need a "prize" that you earn from a contest in order to contribute any kind of work to groups; the only exception being if the group originates from a pairing/series that's widely popular since this site has sadly turned into a "popularity contest."

The truth is all around.

Why would we need to consider pairing Kuja with another heroine?

High-on-Skittles or Annria2002 doesn't need contribution from so-called supporters of the Kuja x Paine couple in order to enjoy the pairing for themselves. Hence why the lack of activity from the "fans" hasn't stop those two from drawing/writing about Kune :)

It would be nice to see others get involved instead of making false claims but... :shrug:

I love Kune! Annria's art is beautiful, and I adore the stories High-on-Skittles creates with them! That is why I constantly watch this group when I have time to get on here... I would join but I don't draw enough to contribute, I'd feel like just a block of lead in the group without having anything to give! :C

True though speaking for myself, since I can't answer for the other admins, I prefer Lightning with either Hope or Kain. I don't think Kuja could ever be Lightning's type... but that's just my opinion ^^;
